Portorož Airport
Portorož Airport (Slovene: Aerodrom Portorož) is the
smallest of three international airports in Slovenia. It is
located near
the village of Sečovlje, 6 km (3.7 mi) south of Portorož,
and less than 300 m (980 ft) from the Croatian border. The
airport was opened on 27 September 1962. In addition to
Portorož, the airport serves a number of other tourist
destinations in the region, including Piran, Izola,
Koper in Slovenia, Trieste in Italy and Umag in Croatia. The
airport is intended for passenger and cargo transport, sport,
tourist and business flights.
Ljubljana Airport
Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport (Slovene: Letališče Jožeta
Pučnika Ljubljana), also known by its previous name Brnik
Airport,
is the international airport of Ljubljana, Slovenia. The
airport is located near the village of Brnik, 19 km (12 mi)
north of Ljubljana and 11 km (6.8 mi) south of Kranj on the
road between Kranj and Mengeš. The airport is home to Adria
Airways, the Slovenian flag carrier. There is currently one
low-cost carrier serving the airport, EasyJet, which
connects Ljubljana to London Stansted and Paris-Charles de
Gaulle Airport.
Friuli Venezia Giulia Airport
Friuli Venezia Giulia Airport, also known as Trieste Airport
or Ronchi dei Legionari Airport, is an airport located west
of Ronchi dei Legionari (Gorizia), near Trieste in Venezia
Giulia, north-eastern Italy. In 2007 the airport was renamed
Friuli –
Venezia Giulia "Pietro Savorgnan di Brazzà" Airport.The
airport has a catchment area of approximately 5 million
people, stretching beyond Friuli-Venezia Giulia into
Slovenia and Croatia.
Venice Marco Polo Airport
Venice Marco Polo Airport is an airport located on the
Italian mainland 4.3 NM north of Venice, Italy, in Tessera,
a frazione of the comune of Venice nearest to Mestre. The
airport was named after the Venetian traveller Marco Polo,
whose book introduced Central Asia and China to Europeans.
The airport is connected to the nearby railway station of
Venice Mestre and to the bus terminal of Piazzale Roma in
Venice by scheduled bus services, to several destinations in
the Venice itself by the Alilaguna water shuttle (Blue, Red
and Orange lines), and to Piazza San Marco by the express
Gold Line water taxi.
Klagenfurt Airport
Klagenfurt Airport is a small international airport in
the state of Carinthia, Austria. It is located in the
borough of Annabichl, north northeast from the city centre
of Klagenfurt. The airport is accessible by shuttle bus or
city bus from
Klagenfurt central station.
Graz Airport
Graz Airport, also known as Thalerhof, serves Graz, Austria.
It is located in the municipalities of Feldkirchen and
Kalsdorf, south of Graz city centre.
Vienna International Airport
Vienna International Airport (German: Flughafen Wien),
located in Schwechat and 18 kilometres southeast of central
Vienna, is
the busiest and biggest airport in Austria. It is often
referred to as Schwechat, the name of the county it is in.
The airport is capable of handling wide-body aircraft such
as the Boeing 747 and Airbus A340. The airport is the hub of
Austrian
Airlines and its subsidiaries, as well as Niki.
Munich Airport
Munich Airport (German: Flughafen München), is located 28.5
km northeast of Munich, Germany, and is a hub for Lufthansa
and Star Alliance partner airlines. It lies nearby the old
city of Freising and is named in memory of politician Franz
Josef Strauss.
Frankfurt Airport
Frankfurt am Main Airport or simply Frankfurt Airport, known
in German as Flughafen Frankfurt am Main or Rhein-Main-
Flughafen, is a major international airport located in
Frankfurt, Germany, 12 km southwest of the city centre. Run
